AlgaForce Technology
The AlgaForce technology is used for the production of monoculture algae.
- Based upon Photo Bioreactor Technology, used for the cultivation of high value specialized algae (monocultures)

Specific algae species are reared in an indoor photo bioreactor that offers ideal cultivation conditions.
Nutrients and CO2 are constantly added to the reactor.
Air is also added in order to create turbulence in the reactor so that each algae comes in contact with light and nutrients.
SBAE developed an innovative post treatment technology able to obtain dry algae with a purity level of almost 100% and to preserve the cell integrity thanks to its strong knowledge of the centrifuge and freeze drying process.
Freeze-drying works by freezing the material and then reducing the surrounding pressure and adding enough heat to allow the frozen water in the material to sublime directly from the solid phase to gas. |
